Role Context
IOM provides comprehensive operational support to the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP), including migration health, cultural orientation, transportation, and management of the Travel Loan Program (TLP).

Key Responsibilities
Supervision & Team Leadership
- Supervise up to 7 staff working on Travel Loan repayment operations
- Provide coaching, training, and performance support to team members
- Monitor shift-based operations, including support outside standard hours
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Conduct quality control (QC) reviews to ensure compliance with SOPs
- Ensure adherence to FDCPA, FCRA, federal and state regulations
- Monitor staff use of approved scripts and systems
Loan Repayment Operations
- Contact TLP participants regarding outstanding or settled loans
- Perform skip tracing techniques to locate right parties
- Update Collect! and LMS systems with accurate case notes
- Assist with processing incoming payments and lockbox redirections
Systems & Technical Support
- Support the National TLP Repayment Officer on technical issues
- Maintain confidentiality and data integrity per IOM standards
- Ensure accurate system updates and documentation
Protection & Conduct
- Apply RMM Protection Mainstreaming Minimum Standards
- Uphold IOM Standards of Conduct and PSEA principles
- Report non-compliance or misconduct through appropriate channels
Eligibility Criteria
Education
- Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of relevant experience; or
- Secondary education with 6 years of relevant experience
- Degrees must be from institutions listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database
Professional Experience
- Demonstrated staff supervision experience (strong advantage)
- Experience in billing and collections (strong advantage)
- Experience with refugee travel loans (advantage)
- Knowledge of FDCPA and FCRA compliance frameworks
