About the Role
As a Portfolio Manager, you will work closely with Program Officers and senior leadership to identify, evaluate, and manage investments that support high-impact social innovation.
You will help shape strategic grantmaking priorities while building strong relationships with grantees, Skoll Awardees, and ecosystem partners across the globe.
Key Responsibilities
Develop Investment Strategies
- Conduct research on emerging global issues and investment opportunities.
- Refine strategic priorities for grantmaking.
- Present recommendations to Foundation leadership.
- Engage with experts, funders, and sector leaders.
Source and Evaluate Investment Opportunities
- Build and manage a pipeline of potential grantee organizations.
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence.
- Evaluate governance structures, financial sustainability, and organizational impact.
- Recommend grants and mission-related investment opportunities.
Manage Portfolio Partnerships
- Lead relationships with grantees and Skoll Awardees.
- Develop shared goals and partnership strategies.
- Support organizations in scaling their impact.
- Connect partners with funders and collaborators.
Measure Impact
- Develop monitoring frameworks and impact metrics.
- Track organizational progress.
- Analyze portfolio-wide trends.
- Recommend improvements to grantmaking practices.

Qualifications
Applicants should possess:

- Excellent research, writing, and presentation skills.
