The Research Intern will join this mission by supporting Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives in collaboration with NITI Aayog and the Centre for Public Policy and Good Governance (CPPGG).
Project Background
UNDP is enhancing CSR as a catalyst for sustainable development across India. Two major national consultations are planned—one in the Northeast and another in Dehradun—requiring strong research, documentation, and coordination.
The intern will assist the CSR and SDG Acceleration Unit in producing background papers, research briefs, partnership insights, and analytical documents.
Key Responsibilities
1. Research & Analysis
- Conduct policy research and gather data on CSR, SDGs, development trends, and legal frameworks.
- Prepare analytical notes, briefs, summaries, and reports.
- Monitor relevant publications, news, and data sources.
2. Partnership Management
- Identify collaboration opportunities with government bodies, NGOs, private sector, and donors.
- Prepare partnership briefs, presentation materials, and stakeholder profiles.
3. Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Record meeting minutes and prepare documentation.
- Support logistics and materials for workshops, virtual meetings, and consultations.
- Contribute to knowledge management within the SDG Acceleration Unit.

Eligibility Criteria
Education
Applicants must meet one of the following:

- Recently graduated (must start internship within 1 year)
- Enrolled in a postgraduate traineeship programme
Languages
- Fluency in English required
- Understanding of Hindi desirable
