Role and Responsibilities
As a Communications Intern in HRW’s Brussels office, you will support the team in delivering impactful communication strategies, media monitoring, and event coordination.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting with media and communication projects across European countries.
- Supporting press outreach and tracking media coverage of HRW reports.
- Creating and editing social media content to increase visibility of HRW campaigns.
- Helping to organize press conferences, public events, and meetings.
- Conducting background research and maintaining press contact databases.
- Monitoring and analyzing HRW’s digital and media performance metrics.
Interns will also gain exposure to the inner workings of an international NGO, participate in professional development workshops, and attend lectures and events related to global human rights issues.
