Key Responsibilities for Research Partnership Manager at CARE

Strategic Partnership Development

Map potential research partners and conduct due diligence
Negotiate agreements and formalize collaborations
Engage and manage research students, interns, and fellows

Collaborative Research & Evidence Generation

Co-create and implement research projects with external partners
Provide technical guidance on research methodologies

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in International Development, Economics, Public Policy, Social Sciences, or related field, or equivalent experience
3–5 years of research, evidence, or partnership experience in international development
Proven experience building and managing research partnerships
Strong knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
Project management skills including planning, budgeting, and reporting

Preferred Qualifications

PhD or specialized training in research methods, statistics, or evaluation
Experience with fundraising for research projects
Proficiency in Spanish or French
Knowledge of CARE’s digital tools (Power BI, DHIS2, KoboToolBox, Dioptra, R)
