Position Overview for UNICEF Digital Content Management
Position Title: State Consultant – Digital Content Management (Part-Time)

This part-time consultancy aims to enhance UNICEF Uttar Pradesh’s digital communication strategy, including the creation, curation, and management of content for various platforms to amplify UNICEF’s work and impact stories.
Key Responsibilities
The consultant will work closely with UNICEF’s Communication and Programme teams to:
- Manage digital content across multiple online channels, ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment with UNICEF’s communication strategy.
- Develop and edit multimedia materials, including social media posts, blogs, infographics, and short videos.
- Support social media campaigns and digital advocacy initiatives that promote child rights and social inclusion.
- Monitor and analyze digital engagement metrics, providing insights to improve outreach and audience impact.
- Coordinate with internal teams and partners to identify compelling stories, visuals, and data for publication.
- Ensure all content adheres to UNICEF’s branding and ethical communication standards.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mass Communication, Digital Media, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in digital content management, communications, or media strategy.
- Proven track record in managing social media platforms, web content, and multimedia storytelling.
- Experience with design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite) or basic video editing is desirable.
- Prior experience with UN agencies, NGOs, or development organizations is an asset.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and analytics.
