Devex is hiring an Editorial Producer, Podcasts & Content for its Special Coverage team. This is a long-term consulting assignment that can be performed remotely worldwide, with candidates required to have regular overlap with CET and ET working hours.

About the Editorial Producer Role

The Editorial Producer will develop audience-focused content for Devex partners, with an emphasis on sponsored editorial content and podcasts.

The role combines editorial strategy, content development, podcast production, partner management and project coordination across multiple formats.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

Develop editorial strategies for podcasts, sponsored content and thematic series.
Lead partnership podcasts from concept through publication.
Develop, commission, write and edit sponsored editorial content.
Work across written, audio, video, visual and social formats.
Serve as an editorial contact for partners and provide strategic guidance.
Manage multiple projects, timelines and deliverables.
Coordinate with editorial, production, marketing, design and partnerships teams.
Support live and virtual events, including speaker identification and briefing.
Contribute to performance reporting and partnership development.

The position may require occasional domestic and international travel.

Qualifications and Experience

Devex is seeking candidates with:

4–6+ years of relevant experience in journalism, media, podcasting, global development, communications or a related field.
Excellent English writing and editing skills.
Strong editorial judgment and storytelling abilities.
Experience producing content across multiple formats, preferably including written and audio content.
Strong partner and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent project management abilities.
A multimedia and audience-focused approach.
Familiarity with digital, production and AI tools.

Experience with platforms such as Canva, Gemini, Monday.com, Adobe, Riverside or Shorthand is an advantage.

Familiarity with global development issues is strongly preferred.
