Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet all of the following:
1. Early Career Researcher Status
Eligible categories include:
- MSc, MD, PhD students
- Postgraduate trainees or clinical science assistants
- Researchers within five years of completing their highest degree
- Clinical psychologists within five years of beginning their professional work
A valid enrolment form or copy of diploma is required. Career breaks (e.g., maternity leave) extend the eligibility window.
2. Not Currently Based in Spain or Portugal
However, Spanish or Portuguese citizens working abroad for at least 18 months may apply.
3. Registered for FENS Forum 2026
Proof of Forum registration is required.
4. First-Author Abstract Submission
Applicants must have submitted a first-author abstract to the FENS Forum 2026.
5. One Stipend Per Year Rule
Applicants may only receive one FENS stipend per year (either a Forum travel grant or ECTP stipend).
