Last Mile Health is recruiting a Project Coordinator, Scaling Sayana Press in Monrovia, Liberia. The full-time role will support the implementation of a family planning project across eight Liberian counties.

The position is fixed-term for 24 months and is open only to Liberian nationals currently located in Liberia.

The project works with Liberia’s Ministry of Health, County Health Teams and District Health Teams to improve access to community-based family planning services.

The initiative aims to improve family planning availability for approximately 42,000 women and adolescent girls in rural and hard-to-reach communities through community-based provision of Sayana Press (DMPA-SC).

Key Responsibilities

The Project Coordinator will:

Support implementation across eight Liberian counties.
Coordinate the development of family planning information and education materials.
Provide technical support to health personnel at national, county, district and community levels.
Support procurement and distribution of Sayana Press.
Monitor quality assurance, clinical protocols and reporting standards.
Coordinate refresher training and supervision visits.
Oversee data entry and commodity tracking.
Support learning, evaluation and knowledge management.
Coordinate advocacy with government and community stakeholders.
Participate in relevant technical working groups.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should have:

A Bachelor’s degree in public health, nursing, community health, health services management or a related field.
Relevant professional experience in the required work areas.
Experience working within national or sub-national health systems.
Experience with primary healthcare interventions.
Familiarity with Community Health Information Systems and DHIS2.
Strong project and stakeholder management skills.
Knowledge management and computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Experience with community health worker programmes is an advantage.

Salary and Benefits

The annual gross compensation range is US$13,404 to US$22,340 under the LBR-2 salary band.
