Background & Job Description

The Programme Assistant will report to the Programme Coordinator and support the day-to-day administrative and logistical needs of the programme team.

The role contributes to effective programme delivery by helping organise activities, maintain programme records, coordinate administrative processes and ensure programme information and knowledge products remain accessible.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide administrative and logistical support for missions, meetings, workshops and conferences.
  • Assist with travel arrangements and programme-related requests.
  • Support the administration of consultants, including contracts and amendments.
  • Maintain consultant and programme documentation.
  • Prepare briefing materials, meeting records and follow-up notes.
  • Maintain programme files, reports, deliverables, publications and contracts.
  • Compile programme data and supporting evidence for reports and presentations.
  • Support programme monitoring activities.
  • Coordinate with colleagues, partners and service functions.
  • Perform other related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should have a university degree in Office Administration, IT, Development, Law, Business or a similar field.
