About the Role

The Project Coordinator will work with the Ministry of Health, County Health Teams and District Health Teams to support implementation of the Scaling Sayana Press project.

The project aims to improve access to Sayana Press for more than 42,000 women and adolescent girls in rural and hard-to-reach communities across Bong, Grand Bassa, Lofa, Margibi, Nimba, Rivercess, Montserrado and Bomi.

The position is on-site in Monrovia and is open only to Liberian nationals currently located in Liberia.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Coordinator will:

Support implementation of community-based family planning services.
Provide technical support to health teams and trained personnel.
Support procurement and distribution planning for Sayana Press.
Monitor service quality, reporting and data accuracy.
Coordinate refresher training and supervision activities.
Support data management, learning, evaluation and knowledge management.
Work with government and other stakeholders on advocacy and programme coordination.
Participate in technical working groups and coordination forums.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should have:

A Bachelor’s degree with experience in public health, nursing, community health or health services management.
Relevant professional experience in areas connected to the role.
Experience working within national or sub-national health systems.
Experience in primary healthcare interventions.
Familiarity with Community Health Information Systems and DHIS2.
Experience in partner engagement and project management.
Strong stakeholder coordination and problem-solving skills.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Experience in digital health, adult training, government advocacy and applying AI to health service delivery would be an advantage.
