Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will support the planning, monitoring and administration of WHO financial resources.

Education

The essential requirement is completion of secondary school.

A university degree in Finance, Management, Public Administration or a related field is desirable. A postgraduate diploma or professional certification in project management or a related field is also desirable.

Experience

Applicants must have at least 10 years of relevant experience, particularly in programme management and/or budget and financial monitoring.

Additional desirable experience includes:

  • Knowledge of WHO programme-management processes.
  • Experience with project management.
  • Experience working within the UN system and/or public-health environment.
  • Knowledge of the WHO GSM/BMS system or similar ERP systems.

Skills Required

Candidates should have knowledge of:
