Climate Tech Fellowship 2027: Fully Funded Land Restoration Fellowship in Iceland for African Environmental Professionals

Applications are now open for the AfriMAB GRÓ Land Restoration Fellowship 2027, a fully funded international fellowship that provides African professionals working in UNESCO Biosphere Reserves with advanced training in ecosystem restoration and sustainable land management.

Organized through the partnership between UNESCO’s Man and the Biosphere (MAB) Programme and GRÓ Land Restoration Training Programme (GRÓ LRT) in Iceland, the fellowship equips participants with practical knowledge, research experience, and leadership skills to address environmental degradation and climate resilience challenges across Africa.

About the Fellowship

The AfriMAB GRÓ LRT Fellowship is a six-month postgraduate training programme hosted at the Agricultural University of Iceland.

Participants undertake:

After successfully completing the programme, fellows receive:
