The position is within the Department of Communication, Research, Advocacy and Domestic Programs and reports to the Coordinator of Spazio Donna Milano.

Responsibilities

The Job Placement Operator will:

Conduct individual career guidance and job-support interviews.
Assist with preparing and updating CVs.
Collect, evaluate and pre-select applications.
Identify suitable employment opportunities.
Submit applications and monitor outcomes.
Develop relationships with companies, cooperatives and other local organizations.
Build partnerships with employment agencies and local services.
Support individuals through different stages of entering the labour market.
Help manage administrative processes and potential internships.
Work with the multidisciplinary Spazio Donna team.
Map and update employment and training opportunities in Milan.

Qualifications

Applicants should have a degree in humanities or social sciences and knowledge of employment-market services and organizations in the Milan area.

The role requires:

At least 2–3 years of experience in career guidance or job placement for people in vulnerable situations.
Experience working with social services, training providers or employment agencies.
Good knowledge of IT tools and major job-search platforms.
Knowledge of women’s empowerment and intercultural and intersectional approaches.
Strong listening and empathetic relationship-building skills.
Ability to develop relationships with local networks and stakeholders.
Teamwork, initiative, adaptability and organizational skills.

An interest in international cooperation and development issues is also expected.

Salary and Contract

The position is offered under a co.co.co/partita VAT arrangement. The remuneration starts from €17.26 gross per hour, with the final economic conditions determined according to experience and the type of contract.

Availability of 24 hours per month is required.
