The Gates Foundation is hiring a Global Recruiting Partner for its People team in Nairobi, Kenya. This is a full-time opportunity focused on regional and global talent acquisition, recruitment strategy, sourcing and stakeholder engagement.

About the Role

The Global Recruiting Partner will lead end-to-end recruitment for a broad range of positions, from individual contributor roles to senior leadership positions.

The role involves working with hiring managers and HR teams to identify talent needs, develop recruitment strategies and build diverse talent pipelines across global markets.

The successful candidate will report to the Senior Global Recruiting Manager based in India and work across multiple time zones.

Key Responsibilities

The role includes:

Managing end-to-end recruitment from sourcing through onboarding support.
Developing talent acquisition and sourcing strategies.
Building relationships with candidates, hiring managers and HR partners.
Providing talent market insights and competitive intelligence.
Conducting talent mapping and proactive sourcing.
Using recruitment technologies including LinkedIn Recruiter and Workday.
Managing multiple recruitment searches and competing priorities.
Supporting improvements to recruitment processes and technologies.
Building diverse talent pipelines across Africa and other global markets.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should generally have:

A bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
At least 8 years of progressive talent acquisition experience.
Experience with regional or global recruitment in a high-volume environment.
Experience in executive search, talent mapping and proactive sourcing.
Strong stakeholder management and consultative recruitment skills.
Experience using recruitment technology, talent intelligence and recruiting metrics.
Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience managing compensation and offer negotiations.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Applicants should also be comfortable working across different cultures and geographic locations and must be able to travel internationally.
