Solidarités International (SI) is seeking a Grants and Partnership Coordinator based in N’Djamena, Chad, supporting its humanitarian operations in Sudan. The role focuses on donor relations, grants, partnerships, funding opportunities and financial strategy.

The position supports SI’s Sudan mission, which delivers humanitarian assistance across several states through programmes covering WASH, shelter and non-food items, food security and livelihoods, and cash and voucher assistance.

The Grants and Partnership Coordinator will help strengthen SI’s donor portfolio, partnership systems and grant management processes.

The assignment has a six-month duration, with the desired start date as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

Develop and monitor partnership and financial strategies.
Map donors and identify new funding opportunities.
Monitor donor strategies and recommend business development opportunities.
Support donor engagement and external representation.
Coordinate grant applications and reporting.
Strengthen partnership management systems.
Support donor compliance and accountability.
Build the capacity of grant and partnership team members.
Contribute to the diversification of the donor portfolio.
Provide strategic support to the Country Director and country office.

The role involves working remotely from Chad while coordinating with teams and donors connected to Sudan operations.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should have:

A Master’s degree in international relations, programme management or a related field.
3–4 years of experience in the humanitarian sector.
3–4 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong experience with BHA, ECHO, UN donors and large consortia.
Experience in proposal development, reporting and contractual management.
Partnership management experience.
Team management and capacity-building experience.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing environments.
Strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
Fluent English.
Arabic is an advantage, while French is an asset.

Salary and Benefits

Solidarités International states that the position offers a starting salary of approximately EUR 2,860 gross per month, consisting of a EUR 2,600 base salary plus a 10% annual leave allowance paid monthly.

The package also includes:

Monthly per diem of USD 750.
Accommodation.
Travel expenses between the expatriate’s country of origin and assignment location.
Break allowance of USD 850.
Additional rest days.
Healthcare, repatriation and war-risk insurance.
Coverage for essential vaccinations and antimalarial treatment.
