The UNDP Washington Office offers two main internship profiles:

Eligibility Requirements FOR UNDP Internships
To be considered for the 2026 internship intake, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Currently enrolled in a graduate-level degree programme related to communications, international development, public administration, economics, environmental studies, or similar fields
- Must return to academic studies after completing the internship
- Able to work at least 24 hours per week for a minimum of 3 months (maximum 6 months)
- Strong interest in global development
- Ability to work with diverse teams
- Excellent written and spoken English

Monthly Stipends and Conditions
