Eligibility and Requirements

Candidates for Oxfam Remote Roles 2027 should meet the following qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s degree in International Relations, Development Studies, Human Rights and Governance, or equivalent. A Bachelor’s degree with relevant postgraduate or professional qualifications is also considered.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of senior leadership experience in program management, policy influencing, multi-country systems, and strategic transformation.
  • Proven ability to lead geographically remote teams and manage partnership-led programming in a regional context.

The Programme and Influencing Lead will:

  • Translate Oxfam’s 2026–2030 SAF Strategy into an integrated regional program and influencing ecosystem
  • Align thematic portfolios across Climate & Economic Justice, Gender Justice, and Humanitarian Action
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams across advocacy, communications, program management, and evidence integration
  • Ensure partner-led program delivery and operationalize humanitarian–development–peace (HDP) nexus approaches
  • Strengthen regional engagement with SADC, civil society platforms, and policy structures
