What Will the Trainee Do?

Who Can Apply?

Experience collecting data from statistical agencies, public sources or financial data providers is beneficial. Relevant platforms may include LSEG, Bloomberg and Haver Analytics.

Technical Skills

The position has a strong quantitative and data component. Candidates should have intermediate knowledge of at least one programming language or econometric software package.

A master’s degree in economics, finance, econometrics, data science, data engineering, applied mathematics or a related field is desirable. Candidates who are close to completing a master’s degree may also be considered.

Traineeship Duration and Grant

The initial traineeship lasts between four and six months, with the possibility of an extension to a maximum of 12 months in total.

Depending on the position, trainees may start in spring 2027 or late summer/autumn 2027.

The trainee grant is €1,170 per month, plus an accommodation allowance subject to the applicable conditions.

The position is full-time and based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
