Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:
- Climate monitoring in the Maldives: Support the deployment of low-cost weather stations, water-level sensors, wireless technologies and related infrastructure.
- Water-resource monitoring in the Nile Basin: Assist with equipment deployment, data management and the development of digital monitoring tools.
- Technical training: Organise and deliver workshops to strengthen the skills of local technical and scientific personnel.
- Project coordination: Support project reporting, stakeholder communication and collaboration with international organisations and national partners.
- Research and documentation: Document technical installations, evaluate the effectiveness of deployed systems and contribute to scientific publications.
The role combines applied research, technical implementation, international collaboration and capacity development.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Education
- A master’s degree in Physics, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
Work experience

Technical skills
